The Chosen Ones? Then not so chosen...

Ok, im not being like prideful or anything. But I'll talk about the title later. Ok well maybe now. So, I was at easter pageant practice a few nights ago, and we were just up like 40 feet in the air practicing the resurrection and finale scenes until our time ran out. I got this feeling for just like 2 seconds that this is absolutely amazing. Not like "oh this is cool" but like "I can't believe that im doing this." It was a tad frustrating though, because we had some minor problems. At the beginning we were all asked to make sure that we could make it every single night on time. But tonight just wasnt that. The choreographer, Jessica, who usually has another person working with her drives down from flag every time. And apparently today just wasnt a good drive, but she made it on time. But somehow people who lived 45 minutes away max were 30 minutes to an hour late. Just frustrating. And we got chastized by the director. Then the next night was good :). Last night acutally. I got my trumpet last night! Only the guys get them, but the girls get to dance alot more. But back to wednesday. After we finished all that stuff, the guy angels got to go down and learn to be torchbearers. Apparently because they know were more coordinated or something...I tripped the night after that. So in this scene, Its right before Christ is crucified and everyone is all angry and mob-ish. The torchbearers all are supposed to run out, and christ gets led between us and were supposed to be all excited that this is all happening. Doesnt that just sound so backwards? It gets more wierd. Then after that we run off and come back in as a real mob of people and were supposed to shake our fists and be angry at Christ. I just cant explain how wierd that felt. Normally I would feel terrible after something like that, but the director nanci said a prayer with us. It was just amazing...but still odd in my mind. It felt right because I was sharing the message of Christ, but wrong because I've never gone against it. Anyway. Thats my story. We go from angels, to mob members, to angels again. Super wierd. Oh, and pretty sure that everyone that reads this blog already knows but I asked Alisha to prom...kinda nervous for her to respond! Yup thats It. Enjoy this nice little vid.

Aaah soo classic. So, this week was kind of crazy. Crazy in the way that I Didn’t do one bit of my homework. Love it huh? Me too, until monday morning. It’s Gonna stink. A bunch. Ive just got senioritis to the max. And the only thing holding it back is this one little thing:

BYU doesn’t send out their admission letters until February. Ive heard February 3rd, or two weeks from the beginning of february. Im really hoping for the 3rd. This is a life changing decision that Im actually really nervous about. To tell you the truth, living on my own just freaks me out beyond belief. I want to do it to prove that I can, I’m just feelin that nice big money crunch right about now. Im submitting my essays tommorrow for scholarships, so I reeally hope that I get one! My ACT is pretty good at 29, but im not sure what that will get me.

Oh, no one really cares but me, but I just stinkin aced my last calc test! Well nearly. I missed 1 point out of 100. But come on! My teachers a bit of a stickler so its expected. Calc BC is just making soo much more sense this semester. I know that whatever I do is going to be math related. Math makes sense to me. Doctors need math right?

OH boy, my favorite part of the week! The weekend. Awesome weekend by the way. Wanna know why? I spent it with my best friend Alisha! Funny how I have to say that even though only two people read this. Soo, on friday, we went and messed around in the mall. Alisha helped me so I didn’t spend the tithing money that just so happened to be sitting in my wallet, and she got some pretty fly shoes. Saturday was even better. But to be honest, I woke up at 10:30 and didn’t want to do anything that day. I had a whole bunch of chores to do and my computer was giving me problems. Just one of those days. But I knew she was my best friend and she said she would come hang out at my house (yay!) so I went along with it. Best choice ever! We do fun stuff. Check it:

funny huh? it was a good day. Best day ever! ( ya know, so far.)

K last little bit. I just thought I should mention an awesome new music group. Im kind of addicted to their music at the moment. The Vitamin String Quartet. Its like classical, just modern songs made classical. Which happens to be my favorite thing ever! Check em out on grooveshark. Another Post about 2010

Ok, well i haven't done one post about it. But every other blog i read (which is only 2) has. So I might as well! Things that happened in 2010:

1) I said goodbye to my older brother as he left on a mission to Uruguay. It was hard. But Im really proud of the work he is doing and I want him back soon! See, We were crying:

2) I went to Space Camp! It was pretty fun. Yeah i never honestly wanted to go to space camp because it just seemed really nerdy to me. But it was actually pretty fun and I went to Prom with a friend I made there! She doesnt talk to me anymore.

3) I made a new friend! or two. and became friends again with some old ones. I really dont know where i would be without my friends. You have no Idea how much you help me. Here are some pics of us! Actually, You can just look at my blog background. Im too lazy to get a bunch of pics together.

4)Man I'm running out of ideas. Hope I make it to 10. I got my first actual legit job. Lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor. I loved working at the pool and having fun with little kids. I really hope that i can do it again this year, so I had better study up!

5)It is my last year of High School Swim. Kind of a bummer. But it was also the first year that i got to go to State! Pretty fun huh? I think i can find the video of my race online...yeah here it is:

6)Well, This isnt as happy, but ya know whatevs. This is the first years since my freshman year that I have gotten a B. B for bummer. IT is also the lowest B i have ever gotten at an 86. something. OH well. BC calc is hard! Most people dropped out.

7) One thing that was really odd was that I didnt go to EFY this year. I have gone for 3 years straight and I planned on going but it just didnt work out. Oh well.

8) I made my first blog in 2010! Three cheers. yay.

9) My 2nd Niece was born this year. What is really special about her is that she is only 3 days away from my birthday! She is the only other person in my immediate family that has a birthday in August. Fun huh? Shes adorable just in case you were wondering.

10) Well, I feel like i have become alot more mature, but I still have a lot of maturing to do. High School is still stressful and try as I might I still dont understand everything that is coming to me. Here is hoping I make it into BYU!

Gosh im boring. I havent done much in the last week due to finals. Doesnt that just sound jolly? Just like the song im listening to! Youre probably listening to it as you read this because thats what my blog does! Yeah im pretty dang cool. Ok, so im doing pretty good on presents! I really think that everyone should like their presents i got them...if they dont...re gifting is cool right? I actually have no purpose in posting right now so here are some pictures I made of my nephew and niece. They are the cutest things in the world!

Ok. So there is an epic christmas movie that is on every year. It just happens to be my favorite. Its called Miracle on 34th street. Yeah nothin special except....ITS AMAZING!!! ha. I made that big. So it is seriously the best christmas movie ever made. I love it. Well, here are some pictures from it!

Ok so i really need to stay in shape now that swim season is done and gone. Cuz that will bug me alot if i dont. I think i might just work out at home or run after school since its so nice outside.
